Yayla

Dragos Lumpan

1.200 5.900

The photograph presents a scene from the yayla, a high plateau near Giresun in Northern Turkey. This serene landscape, traditionally used by shepherds during the summer months, is captured with a profound sense of peace. In the image, a lone shepherd guides his flock of sheep across the expansive, rugged terrain. The solitary figure, deeply immersed in his role, exemplifies a time-honored tradition of pastoral life.
