The Sacrifice
Alexandru Marinete
5.000 €
Eschewing traditional representational forms, the work is characterized by a deliberate stylization that blurs certain features while accentuating those that evoke a profound emotional resonance. The contrast between organic curves and rigid lines symbolizes themes of loss, devotion, and transformation, capturing the essence of sacrifice in a refined, timeless form.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in 1980 in Romania, Alexandru Constantin Marinete began sculpting at the age of eight, following in the footsteps of his father, a sculptor whose workshop served as Alexandru’s first learning ground. Surrounded by stones, he developed a deep connection to the craft from an early age.
