This time-honored tradition, essential for the well-being of both livestock and landscapes, is depicted in “The Last Transhumance” through an extensive artistic, ethnographic, and sociological lens. Spanning 15 years and covering over 50,000 kilometers across six countries, the project captures the profound transition occurring within this millennial practice.
