MACRO 13

Mirela Iordache

5.600

“MACRO 13” pays homage to Hokusai’s iconic “The Great Wave off Kanagawa.” This abstract piece features a resin blue background overlaid with a layer of white, applied with swift, circular brushstrokes while the resin was still wet. The brushstrokes illustrate the power and fluidity of water, bridging traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern abstract expressionism.
