Series: Demarcations

In this series, the artist explores the raw, primal energy of creation as inspired by the Genesis narrative. The artworks are centred around the force that shaped the world, capturing the moment of divine inception. The artist explores the dynamic tension between chaos and order, illustrating the primordial void from which life emerged.

Through her textile technique, the works evoke the moment of creation, reminiscent of the firmament being separated from the waters, and the birth of light piercing the darkness. The series does not merely depict biblical scenes but rather translates the metaphysical struggle and exuberance of creation into a tangible, visceral form.
