In his innovative approach, Smeu has developed a distinctive project involving the creation of his own visual vocabulary. By harnessing the power of light, he unveils this invented language within his artworks, transforming ordinary perceptions into profound visual experiences. This technique allows him to transcend conventional boundaries, using light not just as a medium but as a transformative tool that activates and reveals the layers of his unique artistic expression. Mihai’s work invites viewers into a world where light and invention converge, challenging them to engage with art in new and evocative ways.

As an emerging artist, he has already showcased his work in various national exhibitions. Upon graduation, he was selected among the 128 participants from all national graduates for the DIPLOMA Show, a festival dedicated to the new generation of Romanian artists, architects, and designers. This selection was carried out by a creative committee of over 40 professionals from the creative industry, inviting visitors to explore a complex creative universe through the exhibition.
